Anniversary Party @ Boys & Girls Club
Jan 19 @ 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm

Please join us for our 8th Anniversary Party! Families and friends are invited and open to anyone else! Fire House Blazing Pizza will be providing sandwiches and Ben & Jerry’s will be bringing ice cream as well!  There will be live music, games, and prizes too!

Enrichment Clubs @ The Jubilee Center
Jan 22 @ 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm

During the school year, TRUE Mentors offers free weekly enrichment program on Tuesday evenings at Jubilee Center (601Jackson Street) from 6 – 8 p.m. Our Clubs change monthly, with every month featuring a different theme. Clubs are offered on a variety of different enrichment topics including art, science, cooking, and more!  Between clubs we take free field trips to for youth to explore local businesses, different career options, and community resources.

The classes are open to all children in 2nd-8th grade, and they create an opportunity for children to interact with other children and the volunteers.

An example class structure is below:

6:00 – 6:30pm   Welcome & Small Group Activity
6:30 – 7:45pm   Snack & Question of the Day
7:45 – 8:00pm    Club Activity

Senior Workshop: Securing Scholarships

Panel- How did you pay for it? Taught by expert Sammie Still, learn how to find and apply for scholarships to pay for school and avoid debt.
