TRUE Mentors hosts many events throughout the month and we are constantly updating our calendar.  Each calendar event contains contact information in case you have any questions. We look forward to impacting the lives of children in Hoboken with you.

Enrichment Clubs @ Boys & Girls Club
Oct 23 @ 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm

During the school year, TRUE Mentors offers free weekly enrichment program on Tuesday evenings at the Boys & Girls Club of Hoboken (123 Jefferson Street) from 6 – 8 p.m. Our Clubs change monthly, with every month featuring a different theme. Clubs are offered on a variety of different enrichment topics including art, science, cooking, and more!  Between clubs we take free field trips to for youth to explore local businesses, different career options, and community resources.

The classes are open to all children in 2nd-8th grade, and they create an opportunity for children to interact with other children and the volunteers.

An example class structure is below:

6:00 – 6:30pm   Welcome & Small Group Activity
6:30 – 7:45pm   Snack & Question of the Day
7:45 – 8:00pm    Club Activity

STEM Saturday – Future Female Engineers @ Stevens Institute of Technology

STEM Saturday - Future Female Engineers @ Stevens Institute of Technology

STEM Saturday is hosted by the Stevens Society of Women Engineers and takes place on Stevens Campus. Parents and volunteers must sign a photo release form and waiver (students only). This is a FREE event, open to 5th-8th grade female students and their mentors. Students and mentors can register online to reserve a spot.
